Colours of Sex

I wanted to explore arousal and sensuality through music and colour changes. This proved perfect for a motion project, and for different sensual scenes which suggest the mood change with context, AND colour.

I chose to explore the female sexuality, but from a female perspective - sensual, lustful, but not overly dressed down or vulgar. I wanted it to be tasteful and not pornography.

Throughout the animation, different women enjoy their sensuality and the mood change, embracing themselves as sexual beings; the way they look, the way they feel.

Colours transform from soft and flirty to dark and saturated, almost as if signaling some kind of lust growing.

I curated the colour palettes using lingerie and sunset as inspirations.
